Big sneak peek for an adorable family with two beautiful little girls. Lillah was just too much fun….such a ball of energy and charm. Little sister Chloe had a smile that could light up a room. Hope you guys love your sneak peek….I had a lot of fun last night and can’t wait to show your full gallery! Lots of love, Tara
One year ago, I got to photograph Luke’s birth and now, in the blink of an eye I find myself photographing his 1 year cake smash. I know it is cliche to talk about how time flies by, BUT it is so true. For me, this year was especially a big blur, now that my baby boy Ty is almost 8 months old. The first 6 months of his life I’ve just been in survival mode…. and I’m still not getting much sleep….thank goodness for caffeine. But anyways, enough about me. Lets talk about sweet baby Luke! Luke is just the sweetest, happiest big “little” boy. He is such a lucky little man to have been born into such a fun family with 2 big brothers. I just love that I get to document such sweet moments for my lovely friends. Love you Abelings!
Just for fun I threw this one of big brother Brandon, just hamming it up! Below are images from almost 2 years ago at his cake smash. So fun and messy!
It was a Saturday morning around 8:30 am and I got the call that this beautiful mama to be had her water break 3 weeks before her due date. Since this was her first baby, we played it by ear and she continued to call me through the day to give me updates. When we talked at 2:30pm, she was still only dilated to 3cm, so we both thought that it would be a good while before that sweet baby boy would make his appearance, but little did we know that he had different plans! At 3:30, I got a call saying she progressed to 7cm and I jumped in my car and starting racing to the hospital. I knew that if she went from 3 to 7 in under an hour, he was coming quick! By the time I got to the hospital she was pushing and he arrive just 15 minutes later! Phew. Close one! It was a beautiful delivery. Mama did an amazing job. When sweet Talon Michael was born he took a few minutes to start crying so lots of people raced in the room. But the whole time they were giving updates, saying “he is pink” “he is breathing on his own”…..he just didn’t want to cry! Sweet, mellow little guy! The hospital staff were so wonderful and I couldn’t believe the size of the suite they got for their recovery room….it had a mini bar, couch, 2 tv’s. I had major hospital room envy!
These two are going to be wonderful parents. It was so beautiful to see both their families come together and celebrate this new life and the first grandchild on both sides. I have a feeling this little guy is going to be showered with lots and lots of grandparent love. Lucky guy!
Congrats Duplantis family! I’m honored that you choose me to document this once in a lifetime moment for you guys. I hope you enjoy these memories as much as I have enjoyed capturing them for you. Lots of love, Tara
Last Friday I shot my first wedding since being back from Maternity leave. It was such a beautiful venue at The Winfield Inn, it was my first time shooting there and I just fell in love with the all those big oaks and the sweet vintage charm. You might remember Kathy & Gerald from their engagement session posted here. Kathy was the most organized and prepared bride I’ve worked with. All of the details were perfect and you can see her touches of butterfly accents with the black and light blue color scheme. It was a fabulous event and I was so thrilled to be apart of it. Kathy & Gerald….hope you LOVE your sneak peek! Wishing you guys a lifetime of happiness!
